This 3-day intensive training is intended for social workers and other mental health related professionals working with older adults in the community, especially to those with emotional issues.


It is recognized that preemptive measures must always be taken to forestall suicides among older adults. This 3-day intensive training workshop aims not only to enhance the understanding of mental health service about the work of suicide prevention, to heighten support and need for timely referral, but also to offer training in systematic approach to suicide risk identification and management for older adults.
